The Bite of Oregon is a stunning celebration of Oregon, its food, its people and its extraordinary quality of life. Come join the fun at the best summer party on the Portland waterfront and discover Oregon's Bounty! The 2013 edition of the Bite of Oregon is truly a milestone year as we celebrates its 30th birthday! Our theme this year is Celebrating Oregon’s Bounty and in this regard, Oregon has much to boast about. Of course we will have an assortment of savory and sweet food offerings to satisfy your palate with our wide array of restaurants, food carts, dessert purveyors and of course, over 20 flavors or Oregon craft beer and 20 Oregon wineries. Food prices vary from vendor to vendor. Price range for restaurants, food carts and dessert vendors are from $2-$9 per item.

Portland is always a great place to ride a bike.
Every year on the second Sunday of August, Portland becomes the best place to bike.This year’s Providence Bridge Pedal is held Sunday, Aug. 11. On this one morning of the year, Portland’s Willamette River bridges welcome thousands of cyclists and walkers – from the Sellwood to the St. Johns, including the top decks of the Fremont and Marquam bridges.With ride options that range from 3 to 36 miles, as well as a 5-mile walk, there’s something for everyone. Join in the celebration of Portland, the Willamette River bridges and cycling.

RACE COURSE: Hood To Coast is 198 miles long.
TOTAL PARTICIPANTS: The 2013 event will include 12,600 runners and 3,600 volunteers
ORIGIN: HTC began in 1982 with 8 teams and has filled the team cap on the opening day of registration for the last 15 years straight!
